Toyotsu Chemiplas Corporation (Headquarters: Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as ‘Toyotsu Chemiplas’), Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto, hereinafter referred to as ‘Sanyo Chemical’), and Evonik Industries AG (Headquarters:Essen, Germany, hereinafter referred to as ‘Evonik’) have jointly launched an initiative aimed at the production of recycled polyols utilizing chemical recycling technology for polyurethane foam in Japan.
