Kyoto, Japan – Sanyo Chemical Industries, Ltd. announces that its odor-reducing additive KESYUNAL RP-11D has been adopted for a trunk liner for Kia’s EV3 electric vehicle. The trunk liner is part of an ocean plastic recycling initiative led by Kia Corporation of Hyundai Motor Group in collaboration with The Ocean Cleanup. This marks the first time the KESYUNAL series has been adopted.
The trunk liner is offered as an aftermarket accessory for the EV3 and incorporates recycled ocean plastic sourced from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP) by The Ocean Cleanup*.
